what do we offer?

We offer the NZ Diploma in Christian Studies (Intercultural Studies) at Levels 5 & 6, as well as a range of short one-week courses which are open to the public.


Classes cover the Bible, theology, world religions, mission, intercultural ministry, cultural anthropology, language learning, spiritual formation, ethics, leadership, and much more.

These are a great way to get a taste of life at Eastwest. Most short courses run for one week, and include topics like:

what makes eastwest unique?

We’re glad you asked! Our strong missions focus is what sets us apart from other Bible colleges. Cross-cultural community life is a vital part of the training. We are a residential college (but we do have part-time and non-residential options available).

what do graduates do?

Our catchphrase “from Aotearoa to

the world” accurately sums up our graduates—they really do go from our campus in Gordonton to all corners of the globe. Some graduate stats:

  • More than 70% go and work overseas with various mission agencies
  • 14% work within an Aotearoa context
  • 10% go on to further tertiary study
